Army Cadets

For 7 to 10 year old girls, term time only. Fridays at 6 - 7.30pm in the pavilion. New starters welcome.

Coffee Morning
All welcome at the Methodist Hall on Tuesday mornings, between 10am and 12 noon.Cooked breakfasts are served every 3rd Tuesday – proceeds to charity.

Dog Training Classes

Helping Hands
Helping Hands is an initiative run by villagers for villagers offering voluntary help to all who need a 'Good Neighbour'. The help is offered to young and old alike in any time of need and includes:

  • Transport for appointments, doctors, hospital, vets, etc, & where usual transport is not available (Charged at 30p a mile + parking etc.).
  • Wheel chair assistance.
  • Errands, collecting prescriptions, occasional shopping.
  • Cooking/meals during illness or post-hospital.
  • Household - odd jobs/repairs, changing fuses, tap washers, etc. garden jobs.
  • Form filling (non-legal), & letter writing, financial advice.
  • Pet care during illness, holidays, dog walking.
  • Housework during illness, cleaning, ironing.
  • Visiting, befriending.

Volunteers are available from 8am - 8pm any day. Messages may be left at anytime. Tel 07817 258279.
